What it is
SuryaDoctor is an AI solar advisor built at HackFest 2026 in the GreenTech and Impact track. It answers the two questions solar owners and buyers actually have: why are my panels producing less than they should, and is solar worth it for my roof?
How it works
Send a photo of your inverter app and SuryaDoctor reads the numbers and finds why the panels under-produce. Planning solar instead? Pin your roof on a map and get the system size, the subsidy and the payback period.
The rule is "AI reads, maths decides": Gemini reads the photo, but the energy figures come from pvlib, a proven solar-modelling library, running behind a FastAPI service with a Next.js front end.
